Thin Air Winnipeg International Writers Festival, Sept 21 2012

THIN AIR 2012 begins with Manitoba Reads, an annual celebration of Manitoba’s rich writing culture. This summer, we posted a long list of twelve Manitoba titles on CBC Manitoba Scene. You stepped up to the task and voted that list down to the final four. At this year’s Manitoba Reads, our specially chosen team of advocates will do their best to convince you of the many merits of their chosen book. Consider the books, listen to the pitches at Manitoba Reads, then visit www.cbc.ca/manitoba/scene after the event to register your choice. The winner will be declared on CBC’s Weekend Morning Show on Sunday, September 23. Tickets are $5, available at the door or in advance from September 4-20; call (204) 927-7323 or visit www.thinairwinnipeg.ca/ ticket-information.
