Missy Marston

Missy Marston’s writing has appeared in various publications, including Grain and Arc Poetry Magazine. She was the winner of the Lillian I Found Award for her poem, “Jesus Christ came from my home town.” Her debut novel, The Love Monster (Véhicule), is a surprisingly poignant story about the mid-life crisis of a woman named Margaret H Atwood. The cast of quirky characters includes a dope-smoking senior citizen, a religious fanatic, a good lawyer, a talking turtle, and a love-sick alien who longs to experience the emotional range of human life. Marston lives in Ottawa ON.
