Choreographer Kevin Ormsby has set out to “evoke the traditions present in world culutures, Na’Wake Variations, illicit the internal self to dance. From water drums to berimbau, the inner self is required to be ever-present in the celebration of movements we call dance. Life exists because human beings move internally then externally. Movement is an irresistible life force, a calling to which we MUST respond”
