One year ago I launched LeifNorman.net and so I will call June 13th LeifNorman.net day!

According to the WordPress stats 70,243 all time views have occurred. Hooray!

And I have uploaded 12,462 images.

The most popular page of the year was: Parlour Coffee (nearly open) Aug 28 2011 with 1408 views!

LeifNorman.net reaches 50,000 page views! At this rate it will hit 100,000 by August.

It seems that Adobe RBG jpeg colour thumbnail images look a little washed out in WordPress. sRGB images look fine though. So… good then. I learned something.

Photographers Rights: There are two kinds of photograph; Editorial and Commercial. Almost anything is fair game for an Editorial photo.

Did a guest lecture about Photographing Art this morning at 8:30am at the University of Manitoba for Cliff Eyland’s 4th year Fine Arts Thesis Class. I talked for 45 minutes and didn’t confuse them too much.

Leif will be off to Gimli Manitoba soon, as the official photographer for the Icelandic Festival (aka Islendingadagurinn).

Quite a lot of his photos from last year are being used on the website.

Leif is one of the few photographers in Winnipeg properly trained in photographing works of art. At least that is what the Winnipeg Art Gallery thinks.
